Unit 1 He has had an accident. 他出意外了。
Betty: Hey! My legs are aching. How far have we walked? 贝蒂：嗨！我腿疼了。我们走了多远？
Mr Jackson: About 10 kilometres. Let’s wait for the others. They’ll catch up in a few minutes.
杰克逊先生：大约有10公里了。我们等等其他人吧。他们一会就能赶上来。 Lingling: Who’s missing? 玲玲：谁掉队了？ Betty: Tony and Daming. What’s happened to them? 贝蒂：托尼和大明。他们怎么了？
Lingling: They were walking more slowly than us. 玲玲：他们走得比我们慢多了。 Mr Jackson: And look at those clouds! I think it’s going to rain. I’ll go back and look for them.
杰克逊先生：看看那些云！我想快要下雨了。我得回去找找他们。 Betty: Wait a minute! I can hear someone. 贝蒂：等一下！我听到有人。 Tony: Help! 托尼：救命！
Lingling: It’s Tony. Where have you been? 玲玲：是托尼。你到哪去了？
Tony: It’s Daming. He has had an accident. He was running along the wall when he tripped and fell over the edge. He’s cut his head; his shoulder hurts and I think he’s broken his leg.
托尼：是大明。他出意外了。他沿着城墙跑的时候绊了一下，摔在边上了。他碰伤了他的头，他的肩膀疼，而且我想他摔断腿了。
Mr Jackson: When did he fall? 杰克逊先生：他什么时候摔倒的? Tony: About 10 minutes ago. 托尼：大约10分钟前。
Mr Jackson: OK, show me where he is. I’ll call for help on my mobile. (Later) 杰克逊先生：好吧，告诉我他在哪里。我要打电话求助。
Tony: There he is, lying on the ground! 托尼：他在那里，躺在地上！ Mr Jackson: Hi, Daming. How do you feel? 杰克逊先生：嗨，大明。你觉得怎么样？
Daming: My leg hurts, and I feel a bit cold. 大明：我的腿疼，我觉得有点冷。 Tony: And you’ve cut your knee. There’s blood on your leg. 托尼：而且你伤到你的膝盖了。你腿上有血。
Mr Jackson: Can you move your foot? 杰克逊先生：你能挪动你的脚吗？ Daming: Yes, Ouch! But I can’t walk.
大明：可以，哎呦！但是我不能走路了。 Mr Jackson: We had better get you to hospital. 杰克逊先生：我们最好送你去医院。
Lingling: Will he live? 玲玲：他会活着吗？
Mr Jackson: Of course he will! He’s got a wound in his leg and he may get a fever but it’s nothing serious. He’ll soon be OK!
杰克逊先生：当然了。他的腿受了伤，他可能有点发烧，但是没那么严重。他很快就会好的。
