Hi Ben,
How are you? I’mwriting to tell you about my new school. I’m a bit nervous. It is called Senior High School. In England youchange schools when you are about 11 years old, don’t you?
Here in America, moststudents change schools at about 10 and again at about 13. At 10 we move from elementary school to Junior High. Thatis when we move from having one teacher for all our subjects to having adifferent teacher for each subject. But our school is still quite small, though notas small as our elementary school. We move to Senior High at 13. This time someof my friends are changing schools with me. Some of them are going to adifferent Senior High. Sometimes a Junior High School is next to a Senior HighSchool. My Senior High is in a different place from the Junior High. I have totake the bus and it takes longer to get there. It is a lot bigger too. Therewere about 900 students in my Junior High, but there are about 3,500 studentsin Senior High. Wish me luck on my first day!
