1.先看前面的,主语是 sunflowers,后面缺少谓语,这里应该用stood.
接着又出来了their brown heads ,这里已经换了主体了,从sunflowers换到了their heads,而且stood ten feet tall 和their brown heads之间没有任何连词,只有一个逗号,所以后面的不是句子,不能用真正的谓语,要做变换,这里用的是现在分词做伴随状语.如果逗号后面加一个连词也是可以的,就不用现在分词了.
