〔内容摘要〕旅游业投资运作所形成的投入产出问题,是旅游经济学研究的重要课题.此课题的研究是以社会主义市场经济理论为指导,以旅游经济为对象,在对众多旅游业投资案例进行深入剖析的基础上,进行归纳总结,指出旅游业投入产出间的不同关联模式及其影响因素,从而对这一旅游经济行为做出客观而科学的评价.所谓旅游业具有“投资少、见效快、收益高”的结论,并不是普遍的经济现象,也不是其经济特征,更不是旅游经济规律；而只是在对旅游业投资进行科学运作的条件下,才有可能出现的一种理想的投入产出模式.所以,也不存在如何“认识”和“运用”这一所谓“经济规律”的问题.

世界旅游业的发展已有一百多年的历史,如今已跃居世界最大的产业部门之一,它为众多国家和地区的国民经济及社会发展作出了举世瞩目的贡献.旅游经济已成为经济学界和旅游学界共同研究的重要学科领域.其中,有关旅游业的投入产出问题便是学术界和产业界共同关注着的重要研究课题之一.尤其在我国,旅游业起步晚,面临着大量的投资运作.因而,对这一课题的研究不仅具有重要的理论意义,而且对指导我国今后的旅游投资实践具有重要的现实意义.以往的经验与教训已经提示我们,应当冷静而客观地观察与分析旅游业的投入与产出运作中所显示出的一系列现象,以及它们之间的关系和问题,这样才可能得出正确的结论.
