内容提要：产业结构调整是西部大开发的难点和重点问题,这是因为西部地区产业结构不合理的矛盾非常突出.以前的探索和实践中大多是适应性的调整,发挥其积极作用的同时有一定的局限性.因而优化和调整西部产业结构是西部经济发展的迫切需要,要因地制宜的选择主导产业,大力扶持主体创新和中小企业发展,努力推进技术进步,深化经济体制改革,消除结构性调整和体制阻碍的角度进行调整.

Synopsis:adjustment of the industrial structure is the difficulty of developing the western region and the key issues,it is because of the western region unreasonable industrial structure with great contradictions.Previous exploration and practice in most adaptive adjustments,play its active role at the same time there are some limitations.Thus western industrial structure optimization and adjustment of the economic development of the western region is an urgent need,to the choice of leading industries according to local conditions,vigorously support the main innovation and the development of SMEs,and make efforts to promote technological progress,deepening of economic reform,the elimination of structural adjustment and institutional obstacles perspective to adjust.
