Dear Mom,
How are you and dad recently? Hope this finds you well.
I am writing to tell you that I had a very good time during this term. First of all, I did very good in my exams. My teacher told me that I am a promising student and he liked me very much. Secondly, I made some nice and kind friends during the school activities. We had wonderful time together. We also helped each other on our studies. What's more, I may not go back home this winter vacation, because I found a good part-time job, which I think will be of great help for me. I will make good use of this opportunity to improve myself.
I miss you and dad so much, and I wish you happy and healthy all the time.
