In the article we saw a strong boy, who had a headache but still didn’t go back to bed. He thinks he’s all right at first. But the boy’s father found that he had a fever. And the boy become distracted when the doctor say his temperature is 102. Then we could feel innocence on the little boy. He reminds me of myself as a young boy many years ago. Thus, we conclude that the boy is strong, innocent, and obedient.
The boy in the article seems like an excellent boy, but when we saw end of the article we found that we probably made a mistake, for he still cries like a weak boy the next day. Then we could make the conclusion that this boy is a just a normal boy, and this ability is a instinct of our human beings, which shows only at special situations just as this article. That’s what Hemingway expresses.
