新闻写作是文化存在和发展的重要手段和方式.新闻的写作方式及其特点是体现文化的重要部分,文化也制约着新闻写作活动,对它的价值观念取向和表达方式以及传播效果进行规范.新闻写作不能独立于文化背景而存在.在日常的新闻报道活动的背后都隐存着特定的文化观念,中西不同的文化背景传统是他们的新闻写作报道观念存在分歧的重要根源.
在不同的文化背景下,新闻写作的表现往往体现出某些不同的特点.中西方新闻写作特点的对比分析,需从文化背景差异、价值观念、表达方式以及传播效果等方面入手进行比较分析.
