A man heard that an office wanted a clerk,so he wrote and asked for the position.But while he was waiting for an answer,a friend of his introduced him to the head of the office,and he was at once given the job.
A few month later,while the man was working in the office,he got a letter.It was sent on to him from his old address.This let-ter said:
"Dear Sir,
We are sorry to tell you that we cannot of-fer you the work in this office because we do not thind you could do the job well."The man laughed,but when he looked at the let-ter more carefully,he saw that he signde it himself.
