Perhaps that big figure shouldn’t be surprising.We have all seen how people on two wheels behave.They race through red lights,weave in and out of traffic,and,when the traffic on the road is too slow,they race onto crowded sidewalks and weave through pedestrians.All these dangerous actions are against the law,but many,many two-wheeled drivers do it all the same.
Safety is not a small,unimportant thing and we should all learn to “drive defensively.” Driving defensively means to drive safely by obeying the traffic laws,but it also means watching what others are doing and looking out for possible danger.If you’re coming to an intersection,slow down and think:Is that car or truck going to make an illegal turn?Is that scooter going to run the red light?
