A French girl came to LOndon to study English.She lived at her English friend's home.She worked hard at her lessons.Every morning she often did some reading by the window before she went to class.
Her friend,Jenny,liked to keep birds.Every day,early in the morning she took her birds out of the room.Sometimes she hung(悬挂)her bird cage on a tree in her garden or sometimes on her window upstairs.
One morning when she took out her bird cage and tried to hang it on the window upstairs,the cage suddenly fell off her hand.She couldn't catch it.So she shouted,"Look out!"As soon as she heard the shout,the French girl put her head out of the window and tried to look at what was happening.What happened?The cage was just in time to hit her on the head!
