为什么不能用to呢?
patterns 后面的that 做什么成分，为什么不能是to?

我觉得patterns后面的that在从句中作主语,“that tell other bees to find nectar for honey”这个that从句修饰“patterns”
你也可以说"flying in certain patterns to tell…",这时,“tell other bees to find nectar for honey”这个句子表目的,就不修饰“patterns”了.
to和that两种说法的意思相同,语法不同,that是主语从句（patterns作that从句的主语）、to是目的状语从句（to+句子表示目的）.
