Humidity test – per EIA-364-31 Humidity.
Test time 1000hours,mated plug and jack,+25C to
+65C,90% RH,8 hour cycle.Contact resistanceshall not exceed 20milli-ohm,meets IR and
DWV specifications.(3 samples minimum)

Temperature Life per EIA-364-17.Test mated pair,applied full rated
electrical load,+85C,
500hours.Contact resistance shallnot exceed 20milli-ohm,meets IR and DWV specifications,no
visible damage,meets mating/unmating forcerequirements.(3 samples minimum)
Temperature Rise – per EIA-364-70 Method 2,temperature rise vs current curve.The matedPlug
and Jack
will be operated above,at,and below the rated current to characterize the
temperature rise.
The maximum allowable temperature rise of thehottest part of the connector above ambient at full
rated current
is 30degreeC.The mated connector will be tested to at least 1.5 times full rated
current
tocharacterize the temperature rise.(3 samples minimum)
Solderability test shall be performed per JEDEC J-STD-002.The solder tails of the DC Power
