I like our Chinese spring festival very much,because during this festival,i can eat lots of delicious food and i also can go to my relatives' home to have fun. But i don't like Christmas Day,because i think that's not our chinese people's tradition.

I like Chinese spring festival,because in this day,people could get together and enjoy their feast.Family will reunion and full of happiness.I think it is children who feel the happiest.Because they can wear new clothes and get lots of money. All in all, I like Chinese spring festival better.

Evely nation has its own folk festivals. Those festivals give people a chance to be away from their regular work and everyday worries to enjoy themselves and to develop kindship and fi'iendship. The Spring Festival is the chief holiday in China while Christmas is the most important redletter day in the western world. The Spring Festival and Christmas have much in common. Both are prepared hefiorehand to create a joyous atmosphere; both offer a family reunion with a square feast: and both satisfy the children with new clothes, lovely presents and delicious food. However, the Chinese Spring Festival has no religious background while Christmas has something to do with God and there is Santa Claus with white heard to bring children presents. The westerners send each other Christmas cards for greetings while the Chinese people pay a call on each other. Nowadays, some of the Chinese youth has begun to celebrate Christmas, following the example of the westerners. Perhaps they do so just for fun and out of curiosity.

it is a warm festival, it is a reunion festival,it is also a lively festival. during new years' eve, there will be a great delicious and abundant dinner called family reunion dinner.all the family members sit around the table, have rice, drink, and talk about happy things etc. it is very cozy! on the lunar new year's day, people will visit friends and relatives to wish them new year.this time, children will receive red envelope from elders. fircrackers and fireworks are indispensible. i like our lunar new year. not only can reunion with family but also enjoy tradtional culture, like dragon dance, lion dance and so on. spring festival is on its way again. i am eager to go back.
