韩国位于朝鲜半岛南部.朝鲜半岛地处亚洲大陆的东北部,自北向南延伸,全长1100公里.韩国的总面积为99600平方公里.韩国的领海与太平洋最西部的海域交汇.朝鲜半岛北部与中国和俄罗斯接壤,东部濒临韩国东海,与邻国日本隔海相望.除与大陆相连的半岛之外,韩国还拥有3200个大小岛屿.其中最负盛名的自然当属素有东方夏威夷之称的济州岛.以北纬38线为休战线,北部与朝鲜接壤.
