Abstract:The purpose of this study is to provide the theoretical basis and practical material for seeking the strategy and method of study of exchange of nationality music.
The author has focused in this paper on the several facts and their relations:
1.Folk rhyme Hulari,one in the form of round dance,is a piece of comprehensive art of music,words and dance,which is originated in Hamgyung Province of North Korea.At first it was limited to the territory of the province,but with development of socialist construction and revolution it was popularized across the country .It spread to the community of Korean nationality in China through immigrants and later spread to Daurs.
2.So far the origin of the word Hulari is not clear.Hovever,according to the analysis and reasoning by Jo Heunggu ,it is an onomatopoetic word and it has been preliminarily that the most suitable instrument for it is the suona.
3.Daurs are the people with long history and they live in Northeast China.After liberation there was special friendship and exchange between China and the Soviet Union and Daurs were influenced by the Soviet art and they introduced Soviet collective dances and also Hulari in the form of collective dance.Later with the work of professional artists it spread widely in city and countryside.
4.From the point of history,the two minority nationalities of Daur and Korean have the common consciousness of historical responsibility living in Northeast China and have walked the same path in development of the region and liberation of China.Culturally the two nationalities have the commonness in terms of language ,religion,custom and habits etc.Therefore the spread of Hulari to Daurs is not surprising and it is natural result of cultural development.
5.On the other hand,because of differences of the two nationalities in terms of locality of inhabitance,history,culture and aesthetic judgment,Hulari was not received by Daurs in the intact original form,but in a changed form in music ,dance etc.This is an inevitable phenomenon in spreading of folk rhymes as a result of mutual influence ,and it is a cultural phenomenon,which meets rules of development of culture and arts of nationalities.
The author proposes at the end of the paper on the basis of the above fact the necessity of stoppingthe spontaneous foreign exchange of nationality musical culture and opening up a new epoch of strategic and planned foreign exchange and finding a method of keeping and development of nationality musical culture though the exchanges.
