几道大学英语时态问题
1.Now some people would rather read than watch television,for the programs seem(to be geeting worse) all the time
问题为什么括号里要用进行时态
2.A report from OPEC says that the world's supplies of petroleum(are being gradually exhausted)
括号里为什么要用进行时态,我觉得用are gradually exhausted就好了吗

1)seem 和to be 连用的意思是似乎而be getting worse y是和后面的all the time 这个时间保持一致 “正变得越来越糟糕”
2）用进行时是为了表示这种情况一直存在并持续着的而就一般现在时就表示一般的现在的情况没有动作的持续
