Argument
The author argues that shutting down the myspace.com is not a solution to curb the threat of predators.Because if myspace were shut down,another better site would quickly take its place and the problem of the threat of predators will still persists.Therefore,the author argues that the best way to deal with this problem is to educate the teens on safe usage of such social network sites so that they can be more informed about the dangers of internet predators and take the steps to defend themselves.
The author suggests and explains several methods.Firstly,‘make sure that your profile is secure’.Secondly,‘I suggest completely skipping photos.’ Thirdly,‘,never,under any circumstances,agree to a real-life meeting with anyone you meet online.’
