The phone rang when i was cleaning the room.
因为cleaning这个动作先发生,所以用过去进行时,然后rang发生在后,所以用过去完成时.这样理解没错吧.
然后想问一下：1.当两个动作是同时发生时,when的前后用什么时态?
2.什么时候前后都是用一般过去时,什么时候一边用一般过去时另一边用过去进行时?
如果可以的话请顺便解释一下other another the other others the others 的用法
