这首歌乐来自Pet shop boys[基音]专辑中的单曲「完整的」。在这张专辑中，有许多对布希与布莱尔的嘲讽与反对。「完整的」这首歌则直接主张我们应该以行动为自己争取更多的自由，因为国家正以各种理由加强对大众的控制。甚至以「保护公民」为理由而侵犯公民。
Pet Shop Boys反对布莱尔推动的生物识别身份证法案，他们表示这非但不能打击恐怖主义，还侵犯了公民的人体。恐怖份子如果真的会因为身份证件而被逮捕，就不应该发生那麼多起爆炸事件。
