When you wander around the large streets and small lanes in Beijing,you’ll always be amazed at such interesting scenes:tall buildings connect with tranquil quadrangles; large amounts of youngsters in fashionable clothes are walking in the street with old traditional Peking peddling around.Yeah,this is that tradition and modernization blend.
In others’ way of thinking,tradition and modernization will always be a pair of contradictions that can never be merged.Nobody can deny that the two have obvious conflict.But I still insist that it is the wrong interpretation on the two concepts.Tradition and modernization collide and talk will produce the ideological spark,which may give us fairly different but exciting enjoyment in both sight and hearing sense.Although they represent different fashion of value and style,they’re not completely incompatible.They can mix each other and bring us more fortune in spirit and substance.
As far as I am concerned,modernization is just a kind of continuing of tradition.It combines tradition to epoch factors so that they are just consistent with each other in reality.As for external aspect,modernization express different outside style because of new social political foundation.The mixing trend of tradition and modernization effectively increase human beings’ creation and imagination which will eventually promote the development of our society.
