John was sick and tired of his parents,saying he was stupid,so he decided to show them how smart he was.
While his parents were off at work,he took it upon himself to paint a couple of rooms in the house.
His mom arrived home at 5:30 and smelt the smell of paint.She walked into the living room only to find her son lying on the floor in a pool of sweat.She noticed that he was wearing both a jacket and an overcoat at the same time.Going over to him,she asked him if he was OK.
“ Yes,” he replied,so she asked what he was doing.He replied that he wanted to prove to her that he was not dumb at all,and he wanted to do it by painting the house.
She then asked him why he had both a jacket and an overcoat on.
He replied that he was reading the directions on the paint can ,and it had said,“ For best results,put on two coats.”
