I hope you will Edit (Add Details) to your question and tell me why you think a lot of people dislike China and Chinese people?
I'm American and I don't think that is true.If anything,I think Americans get along well with Chinese people and admire them for being smart,highly educated,hard-working,staying out of trouble,etc.(this pertains mostly to Chinese people in America,who are like this).
I also suspect you think people dislike China and Chinese people because you heard a lot of false propaganda from the Chinese media claiming that.I think the Chinese government wants Chinese people to fear and hate foreigners.When I went to Chinasome people were really nice,but some people were really,really rude and even hateful.I thought THEY were racist.But when I went to Taiwan,Hong Kong,Singapore etc.I didn't notice that kind of rudeness or hateful,racist behavior towards me (OK,maybe a little bit in Hong Kong!).So I think your government is manipulating the Chinese people to fear and hate foreigners.
There are racist people in every country (including Chinese) who fear and hate anyone different to themselves.
Kevcom1,I have lived and worked in China and you are wrong wrong wrong,Some of the kindest people I ever met were Chinese,especially in Nanjing.To do a good deed to a stranger who is also a foreigner with no expectation of reward- that is true kindness.
